So I left Auckland on the morning of the 23rd and heading down to Napier for my annual escape from reality, after stopping in Taupo for some sun and photographs, I continued on my way idly thinking to myself "I've got enough gas...."  - well, on the middle of the Napier/Taupo road my gas light started flickering at me :(  Uh oh....

Thankfully I managed to hit the outskirts of Napier with my gas meter sitting below empty...

Saturday morning saw a good ole family outing to Havelock North, an old-folks home, and the top of Te Mata Peak for some stunning (if not cloudy) photographs of the surrounding Hawkes Bay region.

Now its time to relax in the sun, chill out, read and generally do as little as possible (within reason of course)...
