Content Type Spam

Now this is interesting, those spammers just get more and more ingenious every day.  I just saw the following exception message running through my logs:

Spamvertisments inside Content-type headers.

Spammers remain ever ingenious. Not sure why but I have new categories being suggested to my directories that are really submissions - do they honestly think I'll approve them. Fortunately my blog is now spam free thanks to a groovy community-type tool called Akismet. It's for WordPress (ie PHP) but all sorts of plugins have been written. May be a solution for you :)
