Juvenile Justice: Now and Then

Published: 9:03 PM GMT+12, Sunday, 13 March 2005

So whilst Darla's holding off writing her report on Juvenile Justice, I'll blog my off-the-cuff report:

...back then, we'd beat the crap out of them till they stopped misbehaving, but that just lead to them raping and murdering people later in life, these days - we just let them go wild, they still rape and murder, but now they do it in the school yard, where it can be monitored by parents and teachers. the downside is, parents and teachers are the ones getting murdered, but it does create job opennings in the education sector...
<DarlaM> lol
<DarlaM> you know i cant write that although it is true
<DarlaM> im sorry but i plan on being strict even when my boys are grown
<talios> you can't write it - but I can blog it :)

I'm sorry, I guess I'm one of those parents that believe in punishment. I've gotten my ass beat several times when I was younger and I think I turned out ok... but even though times have changed and children have rights now that they didn't have when it comes to parents discipling, I will still beat the hell out of my kids if they don't act right... and dare someone to judge me about it!
