Lucid Dreams - Simple time tracking application

Published: 10:03 PM GMT+12, Wednesday, 9 March 2005

For a long time I've enjoyed using GnoTime to track time against projects, but lately I've been using windows again, and havn't been able to find anything similiar. So whats a guy to do? Write something of course...

It's only 1/2 a day old so is pretty basic, but its currently functional, to a degree.

Is it wrong that I'm actually enjoying swing? So why lucid dreams? You can blame the liner notes to Silent Force's new CD "Worlds Apart" for that, it jumped out at me with a sort of "when I'm tired, I can't remember how long i've been working on something... which is when I'd want this" feeling...

The screenshot shows a project tree in the upper left, showing total time, and time today ( if anyone knows of a decent tree-table component, I'd love to know, I found one in JNDC but it shows issues ), the upper right shows individual work records for the selected project, and the lower tabbed panel will show a breakdown/summary of all work record for the particular date range.

I'm sure I'll think of other things to add to this as well.

Hey Alex, thanks for the link - it looks interesting. Theres no spoiling the joy at all, there's always going to be similar projects out there that people don't always find.

And it never hurts to have choice :)
