Via Christdot I found an amusing article about the number of the beast:
A newly discovered fragment of the oldest surviving copy of the New Testament indicates that, as far as the Antichrist goes, theologians, scholars, heavy metal groups, and television evangelists have got the wrong number. Instead of 666, it's actually the far less ominous 616.I guess Iron Maiden will have to re-record a few songs :)

Can be explained by

The Key to "The Numbers of The
Beast" is "The Positive Natural
Integer Six(6)"
The Holy Numbers of God
is Three(3) and Seven(7)
Accordingly to Moses
Writtings in the
Genesis 1600 B.C.
The Number Six is Just
below Seven(7) on the
other hand Just Above
Seven(7) we have the
Positive Natural Integer
Eight(8) "The King of Numbers"
