Following on from A Forest of Stars, I finnished book 3 of Kevin J. Anderson's mammoth Seven Suns saga. Hard science-fiction this is not, but its likable characters and an interesting story line thats fast paced, and at the same time; not rushed.

The book included some amusing moments where I clearly saw "Extreme Makeover: Theron Edition" take place as the Roamer clans descend upon the Theron homeworld to give to give aid after the devasting Hydrogue/Faeros attack, and who could forget the blog-like reporting of the Hansa's unwarranted attack on the Roamers?

Whilst amusing, the repeating in the right place at the right time theme is starting to annoy me, but not enough to drive me away from the story, and now I find myself in the fustrating position of having to wait for book 4 to be released...
