Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince

posted Tuesday, 26 July 2005
Well I just tried posting this comment over on David Farrar's blog but kept getting Apache errors, so am simply making it a post here:

Is Harry a Horcrux? In order to make a horcrux, death is required right? So, two wizards get murdured, and a small child remains. There are often referrences to the fact that "part of Voldemorts power transferred to Harry" (hence speaking snake etc.), could that "power" be due to part of Voldemort's soul now being in Harry?

And if so; once Harry kills Voldemort, Voldemort's not 'entirely gone' cause part of his soul remains in Harry, and for the greater good of the world, Harry must sacrifice himself in order to compleately destroy Voldemort.

Pure conjecture...

And secondly - what on earth possessed Rowling to use to word "ejaculated" as an expression of speach? Sure, it's technically correct, but its use is definitely not common....
