America - this is your army - don't you feel safe?

Like alot of people I've been following Jacob Appelbaum's efforts in New Orleans following Katrina (great work you're doing there),Jacob recently posted about the military landing on their own beach, whilst I'm sure they eventually found the funny side in their attempt to actually land it makes me wonder just how soggy and mushy the rest of New Orleans is right now.
