I picked up this book along with two others by the same author a few months back after perusing the horror section at Borders just after getting paid ( always a bad combination ) - they sounded good, and so far I've found Writ in Blood to be an enjoyable, albeit somewhat slow moving with very little vampiric activity at all. Anyway, the story finally starts picking up pace and really grabbing my attention around the midpoint, and straight after a primary character is murdered, leaving the St Germain "suspect #1" the book jumps from page 352 to 385, skipping several chapters and what I assume is a pivitol section of the story. I have the first edition 'not quite trade size' paperback and have yet to find any reference to the missing pages on the net, nor did a quick visit to #bookz yeild an electronic copy of the book in question. I don't really wish to continue reading WITHOUT having read those pages, so untill I find them, or find another printing of the book, I fear I'll be leaving this somewhat unfinnished. I emailed the publishers ( Tor ) earlier to enquire about the availability of a corrected printing, so hopefully I'll hear form them in the near future...
