Weekend roundup...

• Friday night movies with becs again, I wanted to see Robots, but it was deemed "childist", so we saw Be Cool - a fun flick, some good laughs, but on the hole not the greatest film ever made. I guess that may have been why I was prone to commenting during the film (something earnt me a stern telling off from Bec's afterwards) - my bad :(
• Since I'd wanted to see Robots, I did - and packed my self a kick arse double feature on Saturday - Robots followed by Assault on Precinct 13. Much fun indeed.
• Picked up the new AC/DC "Family Jewels" DVD along with Iron Monkey - the new remastered release of the 1993 film. The AC/DC kicked arse - excellent live performances from the boys; even way back in '75 (gee, I was like, 1 then). I love a good martial arts film, and Iron Monkey delivered just what I wanted - plenty of kicks and punches, spins, and some totally amazing pole fighting to boot.
• Didn't make it to church this morning, or this evening, my bad; although I made up for it by listening to a backlog of Catholic Insider, and an assortment of Godcast podcasts.
