One of the guys in the office just pointed me at Simutrans, a neat looking transport simulation game for linux.

I occasionally search for pages that reference Simutrans - just to spread the word that the game is under active and constant development... Recent additions include trams, road signs, and the 128x128 pak, which has a lot more vehicles of all kinds... Free as always - and I get no benefit by spreading the word except that we hope to build a larger community of players... Work has begun on a network-playable version, but this is aeons away, most likely... :)
