I feel so tainted, and bad. Having found the Feedster.com blog, and trying to subscribe to their feed, finding nothing but a non-validating "abortion" of RSS, I mentioned to Jarober the failed feed, which he prompted patch support into bottomFeeder for - but yuck - having to hack for abortions like this.... What ever happened to standards? Somehow, I thought the Feedster.com guys would know better.

Hi there,

That's an interesting statement. We used an off the shelf tool kit for our blog (Serendipity). Yes it has some problems with the RSS it generates.

Don't hang us (or do; your choice) for code we didn't write.

I could easily point out that you're using RSS 1.0 which isn't really "rss". ;-)
