At the food of the cross lie the broken...

posted Tuesday, 4 May 2004
so I hear theres this life group photo thing going on... Well, there message I saw about is was talking about photos that best "portraits" your life group, but that doesn't quite make sense. Unless the grammer is just bad and you're talking about portait photos of ones lifegroup members... However, I was thinking it more along the lines photos that best "portray" your lifegroup - or at least ones view of it. I was contemplating this as I walked to the bus, and from a previous photoshoot at the graveyard next door I had an idea of this theme which decribes my thoughts on lifegroup:
"At the foot of the cross we find the broken."
Lifegroup is about friendship, relationships, and healing. A meeting of the broken ( man ) and God. The photos can be seen here. The gravestone cross with an assortment of other broken headstones surrounding it. We lie at the foot of the cross, broken, and no matter which way you look at it - even in the darkness, the light of the son/sun reflects on the cross and casts its' warmth on our stones...
