Hooray, I made it way past 21, that must mean I'm not a goth - afterall, I always did just say I was the Dark Christian....
Went out for a birthday curry at New Delhi Indian ( the place that gave me a ride home the other week ) with an assorted bunch of friends from various walks of life: work, the flat, church, and pool. Much enjoyment was had by all, and especially much fun was had by me - but that may just be the King Fisher and wine talking.
I've never really been one much for gift given, or even gift receiving ( having generally slept through the past four or five birthdays ) and was plesantly surprised by the Borders gift voucher from Grant/Rachel/Matt/Mell/Bruce and the CD by "Jacob" from Pip, and the wine from Kelly/Simon. Maybe I should celebrate more often ;-)
Many many thanks to Pip for the ride home as well, which was suitable followed by finnishing off one of the bottles of wine :-)
I enjoyed the night with friends I'd not seen for awhile, and whom I endevour to catch up with more fully once I get my drivers licence back in two weeks, the only sad thing is that I keep thinking of people I'd forgotten to invite, those I've lost contact with and really wish I saw more of - mike and mel, wendy, tiff, the list goes on... miss you guys - hope to catch up soon....
