Woohoo - whilst hunting through cubboards trying to find the lid for my lunch box I found a box of blanks CDs, which happened to also contain my long lost 6 Degrees of Inner Turbulence CD. I've sooo missed this album - the track "Misunderstood" has been on my mind quite alot lately...

How can I feel abandoned even when the world surrounds me How can I bite the hand the feeds the strangers all around me How can I know so many Never really knowing anyone If I seem superhuman I have been Misunderstood
These lyrics came to mind quite often on Saturday night as I was at a farewell party for a guy I knew at church, a loud crowded bar with about 50 people I 'knew', but didn't 'know' - I was reminded of two things that make me uncomfortable - annoyingly loud pubs that make any form of conversation a yelling match, and being stuck in the position of admitting he has no idea what teams are playing on the giant screen infront of him ( All Blacks verses someone? ) and having no desire, or interesting in joining a conversation about the game - which ultimately lead to unconfortable silence from me and frequent visits to the bar for bourbon, all the whilse being squashed into the venue with the impossible task of attempting to navigate oneself to the other side where 2-3 people I actually do know well and wouldn't mind knowing more - ahh but I digress - Dream Theater rock and I'm still surprised by the number of people who don't like this album.
